I was reminded again about the importance of humility. Bob Jones mentioned that God annoints only humble. God honors humility.
Isaiah 66:2 "This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at My word."
Proverbs 16:19 "Better to be lowly in spirit and among the oppressed, than to share the plunder with the proud."

"Humility comes before honor" - Proverbs 15:33
"Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall"- Proverbs 16:18
"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom." James 3:13
