- In the tabernacle, all the items were clean, holy and devoted for the Lord.
- Holiness comes from the Lord. "I will make him/ her holy" (Lev. 21:8)
- "Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of revernace for God." 2 Corinthians 7:1)
2) To be used by God is to experience resistance from authority.
- Do you wanna be used by God or have authority and honor from men?
- Jesus submitted to the will of God. Authorities did not accept him. Did He do the will of God? Yes. "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. ... he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." (Matthew 26:38, 39)
- It will brings tears; you would feel abandoned from the help of men
